We dated for exactly a year, and then it was over. It was the first girl I had feelings for. During this time, I was emotional. I acted on impulse and made mistakes that were costly. Perhaps, I didn't respect her the way I should've. I didn't understand much about love though. I was young, naive, impatient, and never sought to become a better person. Fast forward 7 years, and here I am. Is the market any different? If I ought to not repeat my past mistakes, I should reflect about the qualities I lack or need work on. I should judge the process by what works and what doesn't work, and do that daily. Today I was off to a fast start with UPS and MOS hitting my targets. I realized over $700 of gross gains, but I disrespected the Market. I went heavy into my positions during a time where most stocks were just consolidating and making minimal moves. I took trades that didn't yield a 5:1 r/r opportunity. I chose to take a nap instead of ripping through charts to see what's In Play. Amelia was a good girlfriend for the year that we dated, but I don't really miss her. This Stock Market thing, though, is different. I'm in love with it. And I know that if I treat Her with the proper respect, patience, and attitude, we'll develop a special relationship that would last for many years.
