If you live in Austin, TX, you must've felt the huge change in weather. It was frikkin' freezing, so cold the city's power went out. I called the Office to no avail. I decided to sleep in since the news reported that over 10,000 people lost their electricity. But of course, after I got in 45 minutes after the Open, everything was okay and all of the pre-market movers have made their opening drives. Rawr! It's okay, so I played catchup. Kept my size only to 300 during the slow midday hours. Day traded 8 different names and made money on 5 of them. I would love to keep that ratio in the future! I also managed to take snapshots of all of my trades. The thing took 5 minutes tops. Why would I not do myself a favor and keep this going? Great for reviewing my trades at the end of the week. Finished the day realized $300+ after commissions. I would like to average $500/day next week and start consistently having $1k days. Nevertheless, for an inside day with a choppy market, I'm very grateful to take something out of it. Trade em' well.
My journal entry for the day. Added a 5% entry in ZAGG
My intraday trades
5% position in ZAGG (~$10.58). Looking for a move towards $10.50-$11.
Late intraday spikes gave me the trigger.
Looking to risk about 30-40 cents to make $1.20.
